Adventures in Rom Knott Park

Having a Taga 2.0 etrike really makes it so much easier for me to haul my 2 small kids almost anywhere. I love living on the island with all the friendly bike trails. I’m going to be doing another blog post about how having a Taga bike if anyone will be interested in owning one. It’s a great ride especially with kids on the cargo!

So today, August 20,2021, I rode with my kids to one of the closest park from home. With so many playgrounds around, Rom Knott Park playground is one of our favorite playgrounds in the area. There’s a big playground just near the Central Saanich library suitable for 2 to 12 year olds. At the west side of the field there is also another small playground which is more challenging than the other play structure but which my boys find really fun especially Gael who loves to climb.

I remember one time during the heat wave, the firemen brought their fire truck near the field and hose down the kids(and adults too) to beat the heat. It was awesome! Perfect to cool down the warm bodies!
